From Screen to Zine workshop with artist Juliet Klotrupp – Tuesday 30 June, 1 – 3pm

 

Are you interested in film and photography, while also shaping them into a more tangible and solid format – a portable, foldable zine? During the workshop From Screen to Zine,  award-winning filmmaker Juliet Klottrup will share her experiences of playing with the images and characters, driving the participants into the creative world of observing, rethinking and imagining found materials. 

 

As part of the workshop, we’ll also have a screening of Juliet’s work Skate Like a Lass. This quote comes from the tag line of ‘Cumbria Cvven’, a Girls skate group founded in Barrow-in-Furness, where the exhibition Rough Terrain currently takes place. We’d like to invite anyone from the local communities to share and recreate based on their own unique experiences here living in Cumbria.
