Harpreet is a dynamic strategic connector, ecosystem builder, and equity advocate with over two decades of international, cross-sector experience. Throughout her career, she has specialized in audience engagement and ecosystem development across the arts, innovation, and technology sectors. The defining thread of her work is a commitment to equality of opportunity – ensuring inclusive access for diverse communities, whether connecting artists with audiences or founders with the tech ecosystem.

Historically, Harpreet was a dedicated advocate for climate justice for over a decade. Her work focused on the intersectional human stories of the climate crisis, championing narratives for artists of color to ensure mainstream spaces reflected diverse perspectives. This work saw her advocate on global stages, including speaking at COP21 and engaging with environmental leaders at the United Nations in New York. She is also an alumnus of the prestigious Creative Climate Leadership programme delivered by Julie’s Bicycle.

This deep-rooted commitment to social equity led Harpreet to Art Gene, an organisation she considers a true “jewel in the North.” She is deeply inspired by the phenomenal impact their small, passionate team achieves without ever compromising on quality. Harpreet resonates with Art Gene’s dedication to those often left out of the narrative – including their invaluable work with the homeless community and refugees. As a trustee, she is incredibly proud to associate with and advocate for a vision that seeds transformation, ensuring that community well-being, nature, and world-class artistic thought remain fundamentally intertwined.
